Move from Playwaze to badminton-first club nights
Move your badminton club from Playwaze to ShuttleOps. Plan player setup, sessions, payments and messages. Start with a free test club and fair court rotation.
ShuttleOps founder Andy Feltham reports that one club has already replaced Playwaze with ShuttleOps. Plan your own move, starting with fake players.
Plan your first club night
Six steps to your first club night
Try the club night before moving anyone
Bring bookings, attendance, payments and messages together with badminton-specific court rotation. Create an account, confirm your email and create a private seven-day test club. It includes 10 fake players and removes itself after seven days.
Add courts, start games and try the Digital Peg Board. Finish games and review waiting times. Let your helpers see how fair rotation works before asking members to change.
Save the records your club needs
If you use Playwaze memberships, open Manage Subscribers above the membership in your admin panel. Use Export to save its subscribers to a spreadsheet. This covers membership subscribers, not necessarily everyone who has booked a session.
Check your active player list, upcoming bookings, attendance and outstanding balances separately. Keep records private and use them to check manual setup. No automatic Playwaze import or transfer of old messages is promised.
Set up your real club and players
Create your ongoing club separately from the temporary test club. Choose public search or private Club ID access. Add locations, courts and session prices. Keep booking your venue through its usual route.
Add players or share your Club ID or QR code. Give registered helpers administrator or finance access. Players need accounts to book, pay and view their history. Linked profiles support parents and guardians.
Move one session first
Choose a familiar club night and tell players where to book it. Set its date, time, courts, price, capacity and signup window. Add a waiting list when needed. Check attendance on arrival and mark players available for games.
Use the Digital Peg Board to assign courts and rotate waiting players. Finish each game, then close the session. Review partners, opponents and waiting times. Reuse the settings for your next club night.
Give every payment one collection route
Agree a start date for new ShuttleOps charges. Reconcile earlier Playwaze bookings, credits and membership payments separately. Check recurring collections before starting replacements, so players do not pay twice.
Complete ShuttleOps payment setup and ask players to add their payment method. Do not assume bank details, cards or payment mandates transfer. Pro and Extra can group weekly charges into one monthly collection. Check amounts due, failed payments, balances and payouts. Record offline payments too.
Make the new routine clear
Tell members which sessions now use ShuttleOps and where to ask questions. Use club chat, session updates and optional email alerts. Keep access to old records while you check the first session and collections.
ShuttleOps has iPhone, iPad and Android apps. Its App Store history lists updates on 23 May and 25 June 2026. These cover session handling, attendance and finance improvements. Confirm that helpers and players can find their next session before retiring old reminders.
Choose a plan for your club
Free includes 10 members. Standard costs £4 monthly for 25. Pro costs £8 and Extra £12 monthly for 100. Existing bolt-ons add features or capacity, including 150 members. These are plan allowances, not a product-wide player limit.
What would 30 players paying £20 each cost?
For 30 players attending four £5 sessions, each player spends £20 monthly. Pro groups those charges into one £20 Direct Debit per player. Stripe and ShuttleOps each charge 1%, with separate 20p minimums. That means 40p per collection: £12 processing plus £8 Pro, or £20 monthly for the club.
Playwaze Standard bookings publishes a 5% transaction fee, plus Stripe fees. On the same £600 of paid bookings, its platform fee alone is £30. ShuttleOps costs £10 less before adding Playwaze Stripe fees in this example. Playwaze Standard has no monthly subscription.
This compares successful collections with the club covering fees. It excludes venue hire, bolt-ons and disputes. Playwaze paid plans can reduce fees; check your current contract. No Playwaze monthly grouping is assumed.
