How the £20 club total works

Stripe charges 1% per Bacs Direct Debit, with a 20p minimum. ShuttleOps separately charges 1%, with its own 20p minimum. Each £20 collection therefore costs 40p: 20p to Stripe and 20p to ShuttleOps.

30 × 40p = £12 in payment fees. Add the £8 Pro subscription for a £20 club total.

This example assumes 30 players, four £5 sessions each, and one successful £20 monthly Direct Debit per player. It uses Pro at £8 monthly, with no bolt-ons, currency conversion or payment disputes. Session spending totals £600; software and processing total £20. These costs exclude venue hire and affiliation.

The ongoing Free plan includes 10 members. Standard costs £4 a month and includes 25 members.

Pro includes 100 members. Existing bolt-ons can add features or capacity, including 150 members.

Rates checked on 9 September 2026 against Stripe Bacs pricing and ShuttleOps pricing and payment information.

Make the move one club night at a time

  1. Try a private test club

Create your account and confirm your email. The seven-day test club includes 10 fake players. Add courts, run the Digital Peg Board and review waiting times before inviting your members.

  2. Set up your real club

Create your club and choose public search or private Club ID access. Add locations, courts, session prices and attendance rules. ShuttleOps records your courts; keep booking the venue through your usual route.

  3. Bring players and helpers aboard

Add players or invite them through a Club ID or QR code. Give registered helpers the administrator or finance role they need. Players need registered accounts to book, pay and see their own history. Check current records before entering them; this guide assumes manual setup, not an automatic JustGo import.

  4. Run one familiar club night

Create a session with its date, time, courts, price and capacity. Mark attending players as available and start the Peg Board. Finish games as they end, then close the session. Review attendance, partners and waiting times with your helpers before repeating the setup.

  5. Move collections on an agreed date

Choose Pro or Extra for monthly grouping. Complete club payment setup and ask players to add their payment method in ShuttleOps. Confirm attendance and amounts due before collection. Check successful payments, failures, balances and the club payout afterward. Record offline payments too.

Agree which system collects each charge before changing your payment routine. Keep earlier records available and prevent duplicate collections. Do not assume existing JustGo payment details or mandates transfer.

Keep affiliation in place

Keep Badminton England membership and affiliation in the required JustGo process. ShuttleOps does not replace affiliation or sync national memberships. Move your weekly club operations only when your helpers and players are ready.
